            3  herein, called by the Plaintiffs, having
            4  been first  duly  sworn,  as  hereinafter
            5  certified, deposes and says as follows:
            6             DIRECT EXAMINATION OF
            7           EMILIO D. FERRARA, D.D.S.
            8  BY MR.  ANTAGNOLI:
            9  Q     Doctor, for the record, would you
           10  state your  full  name  and  professional
           11  address?
           12  A     Emilio D. Ferrara, 1436 State Route
           13  59 in Kent, Ohio.
           14  Q     And, Doctor, what is your occupation?
           15  A     I am oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
           16  Q     And for how long have you been
           17  engaged in  that  practice  of  medicine?
           18  A     For 28 years.
           19  Q     Now, you are not an M.D., is that
           20  correct?
           21  A     No, air, I am not.
           22  Q     You have a degree in dentistry, is
           23  that  correct?
           24  A     Doctor of dental surgery.
           25  Q     And could you tell  us,  Doctor,  a

           I  little bit about your educational
           2  background?  Where did you attend
           3  undergraduate school?
           4  A    Kent State University.
           5  Q    And your degree at Kent was in  what?
           6  A    Liberal arts with a major in  biology
           7  and chemistry.
           8  Q    What year did you graduate from  Kent
           9  State?
          10  A    1 9 6 0 .
          11  Q    And then you went on to graduate
          12  school where?
          13  A    At Case Western Reserve.
          14  Q    And--
          15  A    Graduated in 1964 with a doctor of
          16  dental surgery degree, and then I
          17  proceeded to Cincinnati General Medical
          18  Center where I did my internship and
          19  residency in oral and maxillofacial
          20  surgery.
          21  Q    And how long was that internbhip  and
          22  residency?
          23  A    Four years.
          24  Q    After you left Cincinnati where did
          25  you go?

           3  doctors while my office in Kent was  being
