 5 --------------------------------------
 6 ATTORNEY SOCHANCHAK:
7 Good evening. We're at the
8 offices --- the Paoli office of
9 RSC Orthopedics in the matter
10 of William McKenna versus
11 Kocinski Roofing & Sheet.
12 Present on behalf of the
13 employer is Matthew Kocinski.
14 Oh, I'm sorry.
15 ATTORNEY KARINCH:
16 Karinch.
17 ATTORNEY SOCHANCHAK:
18 Karinch. I am Paul
19 Sochanchak, representing the
20 Claimant. We're here today for
21 the trial deposition of Dr.
22 Lewis Sharps in lieu of live
23 testimony before Judge Stokes.
24 As this is in lieu of live
25 testimony, I would ask that all
0008
1 objections be made on the
2 record or deemed waived. Is
 3 that agreeable?
 4 ATTORNEY KARINCH:
 5 Yes.
 6 ATTORNEY SOCHANCHAK:
7 Would you also agree to
8 waive the signing and sealing
9 of certification of the record?
10 ATTORENY KARINCH:
11 Yes.
12 EXAMINATION ON QUALIFICATIONS
13 BY ATTORNEY SOCHANCHAK:
14 Q. Doctor, could you please give a
15 brief explanation, or a brief history,
16 of your educational background?
17 A. I attended medical school at Thomas
18 Jefferson University Hospital from
19 1971 through 1975. I then entered
20 into a surgical internship at the same
21 University Hospital through 1976. In
22 1976, I began my orthopedic specialty
23 training, which was also at Thomas
24 Jefferson University Hospital and
25 extended through 1980. In 1980, I
0009
1 entered into private practice and
2 became a member of the full-time staff
3 at Paoli Memorial Hospital and
4 Phoenixville Hospital. And I'm also
5 on the full-time staff presently at
6 St. Francis Hospital, on the courtesy
 7
