9 name is Kathryn Boselli, and Lois Cole here is

10 with me We represent Fairview General

11 Hospital and some of its physicians in this

12 case involving Mr Edward Hockey

13 A Yes

14 Q You have indicated that you don't

15 have a CV with you but that you will supply

16 one to Mr Kaufman, and that he will mail it to

17 us so that we can have that for our files I

18 am going to go through some of your background

19 with you

20 A Fine

21 Q_ I understand a lot of this will be

22 on your CV

23 A Yes

24 Q_ Doctor, where did you go to medical

25 school?

1 A To Western Reserve University
2 Q- When did you graduate?
3 A In 1944
4 Q- That would be with an MD degree,
5 right?
6 A Yes
7 Q- Where did you do your internship?
8 A At Michael Reese Hospital in
9 Chicago
10 Q We were talking about your
11 internship?
12 A Yes
13 Q- was that general internship?
14 A It was a rotating internship for
15 five months It was during World War II
16 Q- what did you do after you completed
17 your internship?
18 A I was in the Army for two years as
19 a medical officer
20 Q what kind of medicine were you
21 practicing as an Army officer, were you a
22 surgeon, anesthesiologist, none of the above?
23 A The Army physician is a physician,
24 one does just about everything, but I was
25 mainly handling patients with infectious

3 A In Darmstadt, Germany primarily

4 Q- would you have been in one hospital

5 during that time?

6 A I was in the 97th General Hospital

7 in Frankfurt for three months, and for about

8 one year I was head of the General Medical

9 Dispensary in Darmstadt
