6 called for examination, as provided by the Ohio
7 Rules of Civil Procedure, being by me first
8 duly sworn, as hereinafter certified, deposed
9 and said as follows:
10 DIRECT EXAMINATION OF ROBERT C CORN, MD
11 BY MR PILAWA:
12 Q Initially, let the record reflect
13 that this is the deposition of Dr Robert C
14 Corn, which is being taken pursuant to notice,
15 and that it is my understanding that the
16 statutory and procedural formalities of notice,
17 service and the filing of the deposition will
18 be waived Is that correct?
19 MR DelMEDICO: Yes, sir, that's
20 correct
21 MR PILAWA: And that this
22 deposition is being taken as upon direct
23 examination in order to preserve the doctor's
24 testimony for use at the time of the trial in
25 this case, which is presently scheduled for
